Kacey Law
Kacey began taking Artistic Gymnastics at the age of 5, then switched to Rhythmic Gymnastics at the age of 9. She started ballet lessons when she was just 7 years old. Accomplishments for Rhythmic Gymnastics: Regional and State Champion 1998 Placed 15th at the Junior Olympics 1998 Regional and State Champion 1999 Placed 8th at the Junior Olympics 1999 Ms. Grace Award Recipient 2000 Regional and State Champion 2000 Placed 9th at US Nationals 2000 Placed 2nd in Regionals and State 2001 Placed 5th at US Nationals 2001 Ranked 5th on National Team 2001 Kacey retired at the age of 16. She is thrilled to pass on her knowledge and skills at All Star Dance Academy!

Megan Smith
Megan was born in Portland Oregon and began her ballet training at the school of Oregon Ballet Theatre under the direction of Haydee Gutierrez and James Canfield. She continued her study by attending intensive programs at the San Francisco Ballet School and Pacific Northwest Ballet School. Megan joined Oregon Ballet Theatre as a company member at age 18 and performed works by James Canfield and George Balanchine, among others. She also danced with Colorado Ballet for two years and traveled to Japan with the company's production of Paquita.

I am thrilled for this opportunity to share my love of dance with your child, here at All Star Dance Academy. I have a total of 20 years experience that includes:
- Formal dance training in jazz, tap and ballet, and attendance in many conferences with nationally acclaimed choreographers/ Lead dancer in musical productions of "Grease", "West Side Story", and "Oklahoma".
- Choreographed for and led the University of Washington Dance/Drill Team and performed at numerous collegiate and professional sporting events.
- Judge for University of Washington Cheer Squade and Dance Teamand Portland Trail Blazer Dancers, also sponsored a state wide dance team invitational competition.
- Dance Instructor for THPRD Creative Movement, tap, jazz and ballet classes.
- Dance director and choreographer for a local church dance group, also choreographed "Mary Poppins" for a local production company.
- Instrumental musician experience in symphonic, orchestra, jazz and marching bands. Mother of three beautiful girls, ages 12, 10, and 6!
My hope is that your child will improve posture, coordination, flexibility, strength, and confidence as they learn various dance techniques in a fun and positive environment. Please feel free to communicate any comments or concerns regarding your child. I welcome any input that can make his/her classroom experience a more enjoyable one!
